ContestPrep.ca is extremely proud of our hard-working competitive clients! This year has brought many changes for the sport of bodybuilding & fitness in Canada - and along with that, huge opportunities for those daring enough to branch out! The season has wrapped up on a high note, with ContestPrep.ca trainer Craig Bonnett winning a big cash prize at his Pro Bodybuilding debut (details below)!! 2009 WBFF Alberta Championships
July 4, 2009 (Calgary, Alberta, Canada)

• ROAD TRIP!! ContestPrep.ca team members had a great time en route to & at the WBFF Alberta Championships.
• Mike Schnurrer took 1st place in Men Bodybuilding Lightheavyweight, and was so close to taking the over-all and a Pro card! (Goal for 2010, Mike?) He also had the opportunity to shoot with Liana Saadi from Inside Fitness Magazine the day after the show - watch for him in an upcoming issue!

2009 NPC Emerald Cup
April 18, 2009 (Seattle, Washington)

• Jason Eggleston, 1st Mens Super Heavyweight Bodybuilding

• "A big Canadian journeyed all the way from Winnipeg for the Niels Anderson sword. Jason Eggleston came ready and conquered. Eggleston thwarted the comeback Kim Nix and beat the Blond Bomber from Oregon, Alex Webb. ... The overall lineup was incredible. Even MC Kim Farrison, who has the number one vantage point at twenty-seven years of Emerald Cups, was taken aback with the group. Head judge Johnny Tuman took the men through several rounds of turns and comparisons. Edwards looked great, as did the lightweight Israel. Pound for pound Eggleston was a standout but Baker’s conditioning and muscle maturity prevailed. 2009 WBFF B.C. Championships

• Team ContestPrep.ca - including trainers Craig Bonnett & Julie Coram - made their way to Vancouver for Canadian Pro Bodybuilder Paul Dillett's much anticipated World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (WBFF) British Columbia Championships!

• The ContestPrep.ca Blonde Squad (pictured right) certainly did not go unnoticed in Vancouver! Jenn Foster, Crystal Cunard, Brooke McIvor, Tannis Miller and Hannah Pratt looked fabulous and had a great time at their first WBFF competition. Thanks to the exposure received at the competition, Crystal Cunard (also pictured bottom in silver outfit) and Tannis Miller secured sponsorship!
• Along with Mens Bodybuilding, the WBFF offers Male Fitness Model categories to men who are striving to achieve a more mainstream health & fitness physique. ContestPrep.ca clients Ty Quinn (pictured centre) and Will McGirr (pictured far right) just missed out on Top 5 - congrats for being the first two athletes from Manitoba to step on stage in this category!
