Each year, ContestPrep.ca chooses an aspiring bodybuilding, fitness, figure or fitness modelling athlete to sponsor during their contest preparation. We hope to make their competitive experience even more rewarding by removing some of the pressure and expense of competing, allowing the selected athlete more time to dedicate to their training.
ContestPrep.ca is proud to announce their choice for the 2010 ContestPrep.ca Sponsored Junior Athlete: 19-year-old bikini & fitness model Ashton Hurley! This fulltime university student has been working with Craig and Jewels since May 2009, and has made an amazing transformation in physique and lifestyle. Ashton was chosen this year because of her continued dedication and growing interest in the sport and industry.
Watch for this new competitor to hit the stage at the Manitoba Amateur Bodybuilding Assocation's Novice Championships this March, and then Ashton will start her prep for the WBFF Alberta Championships this July! Check back for updates on Ashton's experience!

Eggleston thwarted the comeback Kim Nix and beat the Blond Bomber from Oregon, Alex Webb. ... The overall lineup was incredible. Even MC Kim Farrison, who has the number one vantage point at twenty-seven years of Emerald Cups, was taken aback with the group. Head judge Johnny Tuman took the men through several rounds of turns and comparisons. Edwards looked great, as did the lightweight Israel. Pound for pound Eggleston was a standout but Baker’s conditioning and muscle maturity prevailed. Team ContestPrep.ca - including trainers Craig Bonnett & Julie Coram - made their way to Vancouver for Canadian Pro Bodybuilder Paul Dillett's much anticipated World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (WBFF) British Columbia Championships!
The ContestPrep.ca Blonde Squad (pictured right) certainly did not go unnoticed in Vancouver! Jenn Foster, Crystal Cunard, Brooke McIvor, Tannis Miller and Hannah Pratt looked fabulous and had a great time at their first WBFF competition. Thanks to the exposure received at the competition, Crystal Cunard (also pictured bottom in silver outfit) and Tannis Miller secured sponsorship!
Along with Mens Bodybuilding, the WBFF offers Male Fitness Model categories to men who are striving to achieve a more mainstream health & fitness physique.
