ContestPrep.ca is proud that during 2010, we were represented by athletes at over a dozen physique competitions, winning 11 categories and capturing over 35 trophies. Four athletes turned Pro this season alone, and ContestPrep.ca helped crown Ms Bikini Manitoba, Jr Mr Manitoba and Jr Mr Canada! At professional shows, Craig Bonnett earned fourth at the WBFF Mens Pro Bodybuilding World Championships, Kristen Sesak placed fifth in her Pro Figure debut, and Julie Bonnett won WBFF Pro Fitness Model World Champ runner-up! Numerous athletes obtained sponsorships and were honoured in magazine appearances.

April 29, 2010 FUSION BODYBUILDING has enlisted professional bodybuilder Craig Bonnett
FUSION BODYBUILDING has enlisted professional bodybuilder Craig Bonnett to demonstrate proper weightlifting form in videos available on its VIP website. This is the first installment of videos showcasing seven of the core lifts that make up the heart of a bodybuilder’s training routine, including the deadlift, squat and military press.
Each video features WBFF Pro Bodybuilder, Bonnett, who started his career in 2006 by winning the Mr. Manitoba contest. A certified personal trainer and co-founder of ContestPrep.ca, Bonnett has established himself as a winning bodybuilding pro and an expert in workout theories, dieting techniques and the science of bodybuilding contest preparation. In September 2009, Bonnett was the WBFF Pro Bodybuilding World Champion Runner-up.
The FUSION VIP site features a multitude of bodybuilding resources for beginners, those doing their first contests, and seasoned experts. The training videos further enhance and complement the VIP site’s existing content, which includes training and diet plans, posing videos, science articles, and an anatomy chart, and they will be part of the site’s ongoing updates.

"A big Canadian journeyed all the way from Winnipeg for the Niels Anderson sword. Jason Eggleston came ready and conquered. Eggleston thwarted the comeback Kim Nix and beat the Blond Bomber from Oregon, Alex Webb. ... The overall lineup was incredible. Even MC Kim Farrison, who has the number one vantage point at twenty-seven years of Emerald Cups, was taken aback with the group. Head judge Johnny Tuman took the men through several rounds of turns and comparisons. Edwards looked great, as did the lightweight Israel. Pound for pound Eggleston was a standout but Baker’s conditioning and muscle maturity prevailed. Team ContestPrep.ca - including trainers Craig Bonnett & Julie Coram - made their way to Vancouver for Canadian Pro Bodybuilder Paul Dillett's much anticipated World Bodybuilding & Fitness Federation (WBFF) British Columbia Championships!
The ContestPrep.ca Blonde Squad (pictured right) certainly did not go unnoticed in Vancouver! Jenn Foster, Crystal Cunard, Brooke McIvor, Tannis Miller and Hannah Pratt looked fabulous and had a great time at their first WBFF competition. Thanks to the exposure received at the competition, Crystal Cunard (also pictured bottom in silver outfit) and Tannis Miller secured sponsorship!
Along with Mens Bodybuilding, the WBFF offers Male Fitness Model categories to men who are striving to achieve a more mainstream health & fitness physique. ContestPrep.ca clients Ty Quinn (pictured centre) and Will McGirr (pictured far right) just missed out on Top 5 - congrats for being the first two athletes from Manitoba to step on stage in this category!
